About Brandon Bowerman

A composer, drummer, singer, and pianist; he studied at The UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music, earning his Bachelors in Music Composition. He studied under the tutelage of Ian Krouse (head of the UCLA music composition department), Richard Danielpour( a student of Leonard Bernstein), and Mark Carlson (founding member of the chamber group Pacific Serenades). Brandon has been teaching piano and drums privately for over 2 years. During summers he toured playing drums with Timbre, who featured his works in their repertoire. Delving into the technology aspect of sound, he has branched into sound design, working with Robert Duran on projects for his Audio Hammer Inc. His songs “A Good Boy” and “Love’s Night is Noon” were performed at Schoenberg Hall by the UCLA Chorale lead by Lesley Leighton. While still at UCLA, he composed a now published musical entitled “Lube: A Modern Love Story”. Rounding out his musical diversity, he recently composed a rock ballad titled “Eyes” for the local band The Corbin Project.
